The recent controversy which shook the Malayalam movie industry, actor Shine Tom Chacko's arrest, is heading up to new developments. After the preliminary investigation is over, Kerala police reveals that the connection of the drug mafia and film industry is wider than expected.
As per Shine Tom Chacko's revelations, a popular a famous lady producer and young actor are also involved in the drug mafia. Shine admitted that he was a part of 'smoke parties', which is now a common affair in the film industry.
The actor also revealed that a famous young lady producer is the main organiser of smoke parties in Kochi. But when he was asked whether he had attended the parties; Shine replied that he has not grown enough to get an invitation for such parties.
The actor refused to name the celebrities who attended the parties. If the reports are to believed, some promising young filmmakers and actors are the regular invitees of the parties hosted by the lady producer.
Shine Tom Chacko says that he was invited by Blessy Sylvester, the second accused, to attend the party. Model Reshma, from whom the police found out 7 grams of cocaine, is the first accused. Shine is the third accused of the case.
Kochi police confirmed that the recovered cocaine was brought by second accused Blessy Sylvester from Goa. If the reports are to be true, 100 grams of cocaine was transported in a bus, on January 8th, from Goa to Kochi. Police expect to recover the same in the upcoming raids, that will be held on various parts of the city.
