Vineeth Sreenivasan and Dhyan Sreenivasan, the actor-brothers of M’town, will play cousins in the upcoming comical-fantasy Kunjiramayanam, directed by debutante Basil Joseph. The brothers are sharing screen for the first time.
Reportedly, Vineeth Sreenivasan will essay the title character Kunjiraman. Dhyan Sreenivasan will play Lalu, son of Kunjiraman’s uncle Vasu. The movie will depict the problems faced Kunjiraman in the society, in the flavor of comedy.
Dhyan Sreenivasan made his acting debut with Vineeth’s second directorial venture Thira. The movie, which has veteran actress Shobana in the central role, was highly appreciated by the audience and critics.
The young actor aspires to become a writer and filmmaker, like his father Sreenivasan and brother Vineeth. Dhyan, who is not so keen about acting, is extremely choosy about the roles he picks.
It is a break time for Vineeth Sreenivasan, who has delivered back to back successes with his directorial and screenplay ventures. Vineeth is planning to start scripting for his next venture, after completing Kunjiramayanam.
The movie will Aju Varghese, Mamukoya, Kalpana, Neeraj Madhav, Deepak, Sudhi Kopa, Noby etc in the supporting roles. Vishnu Sharma handles the cinematography and Justin Prabhakaran composes the music. Kunjiramayanam is produced by Suvin K Varkey under the banner Little Big Films.
