Aadupuliyattam Team's Sweet Revenge On Jewel Mary!

Jewel Mary, the popular anchor turned actress had made headlines, by rejecting the recent superhit Aadupuliyattam. Interestingly, Aadupuliyattam team took a sweet revenge on Jewel, by inviting her to the success bash.

Recently, the producers of the movie, Noushad Alathur and Haseeb Haneef openly invited the actress to be the chief guest of the 50th day celebrations of the movie, through their Facebook pages.

Initially, the team had approached Jewel Mary to play the female lead opposite Jayaram in the movie. But the actress rejected the offer, stating that she is not ready to pair up with an unsuccessful actor like Jayaram.

Jewel's statement was a huge shock for the entire industry. She had also allegedly asked the producers to replace Jayaram, with some popular 'new generation' actor and suggested to rope in Fahadh Faasil for the role.

The actress's response irked Noushad and Haseeb, who produced her second film, the Mammootty starrer Utopiayile Rajavu. They went on to reveal the entire incident to the media and Jewel was heavily bashed for her attitude.

But Jewel denied the reports, stating that she rejected the film as the script was not exciting. However, Sheelu Abraham replaced her in the role and the movie, directed by Kannan Thamarakulam emerged as a great comeback for Jayaram.
