in this film, Jayasurya played the role of an effeminate dancer.
The actor had done full justice to the character and not even in a
single scene has he gone overboard and thus delivering a matured
Happy Journey wasn't a big success at the box office.
The film had Jayasurya in the role of a guy named Aaron, who wants
to make it to the Indian cricket team for blind. Once again,
Jayasurya was cent percent convincing as the character.
Kumbasaram, despite being a good movie, was a box
office failure. The film had a very intense performance from
Jayasurya, as a father who is on the run to save his child's
Sankaranum Mohananum, directed by T V Chandran, had the
actor in dual roles. The actor appeared in different get-ups in the
film. He made both the characters look distinct and that definitely
is the success of the actor.

This film had the kids, the wonderful making, well-layered
script as its major talking points. More importantly, the film did
have a subtle yet strong performance from Jayasurya. He underplayed
his character most of the times and that smile which appears on his
face towards the climax sequence of the film is more than enough to
show the brilliance of the actor.
Most of the films in the above mentioned list didn't have a good
fate at the box office. Probably, due to that reason, Jayasurya's
hardwork and commitment also went unnoticed.

Jayasurya, as the actor's most recent release Pretham has turned
out to be a big box office success.
The film directed by Ranjith Sankar is still doing a good
business at the box office. Pretham, features Jayasurya in
the role of a mentalist named John Don Bosco. The film also
features Aju Varghese, Govind Padmasoorya, Sharafudheen etc. in
Jayasurya has received praises for his performance as John Don Bosco in the film. He has given a well-controlled and matured performance and his hard work for the character has paid off.
