Dileep-Kavya Madhavan's Pinneyum Gets A Release Date

Pinneyum, the upcoming Dileep-Kavya Madhavan starring Adoor Gopalakrishnan movie, has finally got a release date. The team recently confirmed that the romantic drama will hit the screens on 18th August, Thursday.

Dileep-Kavya Madhavan duo, that is doubtlessly one of the most celebrated onscreen pairs of Malayalam cinema, is teaming up after a long gap of 6 years. They are playing a married couple in Pinneyum.

The duo last shared the screen in Mammas's Paappi Appacha, which was released in 2010. Both the actors have also announced that they are ready to share the screen if they receive a good script.

The movie, which is said to be an intense love story, will have Dileep in the character Purushothaman Nair, a middle-class man. Baby Akshara Kishor, the popular child artist plays Purushothaman's only daughter in the movie.

Adoor Gopalakrishnan, the veteran film-maker is back with yet another promising venture after a long gap. The director has earlier ventured into the romance genre, with the much-acclaimed movie Swayamvaram.

MJ Radhakrishnan is the director of photography. B Ajithkumar handles the editing. Kukku Parameshwaran is the production designer. Pinneyum is produced by Baby Mathew and Adoor Gopalakrishnan, himself.
