Welcome To Central Jail revolves around the central character Unnikuttan, played by Dileep. He goes to jail on charges of a crime which was not done by him, but soon starts to enjoy the life in the prison.

Dileep is teaming up with the Sallapam director Sundar Das, after a long gap of 13 years. Welcome To Central Jail, which is scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam, is produced by Vyshakh Rajan.

Vedhika, Siddique, Renji Panicker, Suraj Venjarammodu, Aju Varghese, Kalabhavan Shahjohn, Sharafudeen, Vinaya Prasad, Thesni Khan, etc. appear in the supporting roles. The movie will hit the theatres for Onam.
