REVEALED: Reason Behind Divya Unni's Divorce
Divya Unni, the popular actress-dancer recently parted ways with her husband, Dr. Sudhir Shekharan. The sources close to the actress have finally revealed the actual reason behind the couple's divorce.
Earlier, it was rumoured that Divya decided to end the relationship due to Sudhir's extramarital affair. But as per the latest updates, it was Sudhir's extremely egoistic nature which resulted in the divorce.

Kalathilakam Title
Divya Unni had won the Kalathilakam title at the Kerala State Youth Festival of 1990 and 1991, simultaneously. She performed various dance forms including Bharathanatyam, Mohiniyattam, and Kuchipudi for the competitions.

Reportedly, Divya Unni's deep interest towards dance hadn't gone well with her husband. The actress opened a dance school in Houston, and soon established a successful career as a dance instructor.
But Sudhir was displeased with Vidya's career interests and wanted her to stay at home and take care of the family. He asked the actress to shut down her dance school, but she refused to do so.
Even though both the families tried to convince Sudhir, he was firm on his stand that he doesn't want a wife who has no time to spend for her family. So, Divya decided to end their 14-year-old marriage.
The actress has moved back to her hometown Kochi along with her children Arjun and Meenakshi, and is living with her parents. Divya Unni is expected to make a comeback into movies soon.
