Dulquer Salmaan, the charming actor, is all set to pair up with the Tamil actress Dhansika. Reportedly, Dulquer and Dhansika will essay the lead roles in the upcoming Prathap Pothen movie.
The movie, which has been reportedly titled as Love In Anjengo, is penned by the National Award winner Anjali Menon. Popular cinematographer-director Rajeev Menon is the DOP.
Dhansika, who made her acting debut with Jayam Ravi's Peranmai, has already made a mark in the Tamil industry with some exceptional roles. She is playing Rajinikanth's daughter in Kabali.
Popular actor Madhavan will make a cameo appearance in the movie. Nedumudi Venu, Lalu Alex, Soubin Shaheer, Jacob Gregory, Maniyan Pillai Raju etc play the supporting roles.
Initially, the team was planning to rope in AR Rahman as the music composer; but he backed out due to the busy schedule. Ilayaraja or Harris Jayaraj will compose the music for the movie.
Earlier, Prathap Pothen was planning to cast Kalidas in the project. But his father Jayaram allegedly rejected the offer, stating that Kalidas is not interested in working with old filmmakers.
The director harshly bashed Jayaram and Kalidas through his official Facebook page; which led to huge controversies. The project has been put on a halt after Kalidas rejected the offer.
Later the movie went on to Dulquer, as Prathap felt that he perfectly fits into the role. It is the third collaboration of Dulquer with writer Anjali, after Usthad Hotel and Bangalore Days.
