The year 2016 was a pretty good phase in the career of super-talented young actor Fahadh Faasil. Even though he didn't have a good start, Fahadh finally got back to the success track this year.

Monsoon Mangoes:

The first release of Fahadh Faasil in 2016. The movie, which marked the feature film debut of Akkara Kazhchakal. Fahadh essayed the central character DP Pallickal, an aspiring film-maker in the movie. Sadly, Monsoon Mangoes ended up as a commercial failure, despite receiving rave reviews from the critics.

Maheshinte Prathikaaram:

The movie, which marked the directorial debut of Dileesh Pothan, brought back Fahadh Faasil into the success track. The actor earned wide appreciations for his natural, confident performance as the titular character Mahesh.

Maheshinte Prathikaaram, which was produced by director Aashiq Abu, emerged as one of the biggest hits of the year, and biggest solo hit in Fahadh's career.

Future Projects:

The actor is currently filming for the upcoming Rafi project Role Models. He is all set to make his Tamil debut, with Mohan Raja's Sivakarthikeyan-Nayantara movie. Fahadh Faasil is also said to be roped in for Anil Radhakrishna Menon and Anwar Rasheed's upcoming projects.
