Fahadh Faasil Turns Village Youth Once Again!

By Akhila Menon

As we all know, Fahadh Faasil is the most versatile actor of his generation. The super-talented actor can play a charming metro guy and a rustic village youth with the same ease.

Interestingly, Fahadh is all set to play a village youth once again, for the upcoming Marthandan-directed project. Reportedly, his character in the movie is a Kannur-based young man.

The actor will be using pure Kannur dialect in the movie, which is scripted by Vellimoonga fame Joji Thomas. The scenarist confirms that it will also be a character-driven story like his first outing.

Fahadh's character in the movie is inspired by the village youth of the higher ranges of Kannur district. The untitled flick, which is said to be an out-and-out family entertainer, will start in 2017.

Reportedly, the title of the movie, the female lead, and the rest of the star cast, are yet to be finalized. The project is produced by Weekend Blockbusters, the banner which co-produced Bangalore Days.

Fahadh has recently appeared as an Idukki-based young man in the recently released Maheshinte Prathikaaram. He is currently filming for the directorial debut of editor Mahesh Narayanan.
