Gone are those days, when it took more than 50 days of run for Malayalam films to cross the 5 Crores or 10 Crores mark. With wide releasing coming in to effect, there has been a surge in the initial collections.

Here, we are going to list some of the Malayalam films which feature among the fastest movies to fetch 10 Crores from the Kerala box-office.

Bangalore Days, which released amidst huge expectations had a dream run at the box office. The film at the time of its release, did create a record in maximum collections in the first week. The film reportedly grossed 10 Crores within 8 days of its release.

Ennu Ninte Moideen had a charged run at the box-office owing to the great positive reviews that the film received. The film managed to cross the 10 Crores mark in just 9 days of run.

The film starring Prithviraj, Jayasurya and Indrajith had a roaring run at the box-office. The film went on to gross approximately 10 Crores within 10 days of run.

In fact, it was the film Drishyam, that showed the industry that a Malayalam movie can enter the 30 Crores and 40 Crores club easily. But, Drishyam had a slow start and it was after the first week of its release, that the film went on to fetch big.

The latest entrant to this club is the Mammootty starrer Kasaba. Kasaba, which released on July 7, 2016, went on to fetch big on the opening day and now holds the record for garnering the maximum collections on Day 1.

According to the reports, the film has also managed to gross 10 Crores just within 8 days of its run, despite getting mixed reviews.

Well, we hope that Malayalam films would continue this golden run and in the coming days also, we would see more and more films racing ahead to the 10 Crores, 20 Crores, 30 Crores clubs easily.
