Mohanlal,
the
complete
actor
of
the
industry,
is
all
set
to
play
yet
another
different
role.
Sources
suggest
that
Mohanlal
will
soon
join
the
sets
of
G
Prajith's
Benz
Vasu.
Interestingly,
the
actor
is
playing
a
full-fledged
comic
role,
after
a
long
gap
in
the
movie.
According
to
director
Prajith,
the
movie
has
absoltely
no
connections
with
the
1980-released
Jayan
starrer
Benz
Vasu.
He
confirms
that
Mohanlal's
Benz
Vasu
deals
with
an
entirely
fresh
subject.
The
movie
is
about
a
middle-aged
taxi
driver
named
Vasu,
who
preserves
his
old
Ambassador
car
like
a
costly
Benz
car.
The
localites
makes
fun
of
Vasu's
attachment
towards
his
car
and
funnily
names
him
'Benz'
Vasu.
Reportedly,
Benz
Vasu
is
a
complete
entertainer,
which
will
satisfy
the
audiences
of
all
age
groups.
Benz
Vasu
was
expected
to
be
directed
by
the
veteran
film-maker
Kamal.
But
the
director
handed
over
the
opportunity
to
his
long-time
associate
Prajith,
as
he
is
busy
with
the
scripting
of
Kamala
Surayya
biopic.
The
team
is
yet
to
finalise
the
female
lead,
rest
of
the
star
cast,
and
crew
of
the
movie.
Benz
Vasu,
which
is
produced
by
Renjith
Rejaputra
will
start
rolling
after
Mohanlal
completes
his
current
projects.
