Parvathy, the Charlie actress surely stands out from her contemporaries, not only with her movie choices; but also with her lifestyle. In a recent interview given to a popular magazine, Parvathy revealed that she is a vegan.

It is undoubtedly a big surprise for the movie industry and Parvathy's fans, as being a vegan is definitely not an easy task. It was a photojournalist named Joan MacArthur, who inspired her to be a vegan.

Parvathy met Joan during her ship journey to Finland, after the filming of Ennu Ninte Moideen. She noticed Joan wearing a boots, which had 'vegetarian boots' printed on it. She enquired about the boots and Joan replied that she is a vegan.

The actress had a 5 hours long conversation with Joan MacArthur, who explained to her about being a vegan. Parvathy found the whole conversation extremely relevant and decided to change into a vegan. But it was not easy for the actress.

Parvathy remarks that she was a person who was addicted to milk coffee and egg & cheese omelet. But now, she has completely removed dairy and animal based products from her diet and has quitted using bags and wallets made of leather.
