Jacobinte Swargarajyam, the Nivin Pauly movie recently completed its 100th day of release. The family drama, which is written and directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, is one of the blockbusters of 2016.
When it completed the peak period at the Kerala box office, Jacobinte Swargarajyam has made a total gross collection of Rs. 23.2 Crores. Thus, the movie has emerged as the 2nd highest grosser of 2016.
The movie, which was released on April 8th, is the fourth consecutive Nivin Pauly to cross 20 Crores gross collection at the box office. So, Nivin has made a place for himself in the M'town top league.
Jacobinte Swargarajyam made an average opening at the box office, by collecting 1.35 Crores on the first day of release. It was not an impressive figure, while compared to Nivin's earlier releases.
The highly positive reviews strongly helped the movie in gaining the support from the audiences. Jacobinte Swargarajyam went on to collect 1 Crore from the Ernakulam multiplexes alone, within the first 9 days.
