The entire Malayalam movie industry knows that Jayasurya, the super-talented actor, is a real prankster. Recently, Jayasurya played a funny prank on buddy Prithviraj, at the Vanitha Film Awards venue.
After receiving the Best Special Performance award at the awards, Jayasurya suddenly announced that Prithviraj is planning to donate Rs. 5000 to all the devotees, who attend the Aattukal Pongala festival.
Prithviraj and wife Supriya Menon, who were sitting among the audiences, were stunned to hear Jayasurya's sudden announcement. But the duo later realized that the actor was just playing a prank.
However, Jayasurya's funny acceptance speech was well-received by the audience. The best part was, the actor decided to donate his price amount to the VD Rajappan, the actor who is bed-ridden now.
Jayasurya bagged the award for Best Special Performance, in the recently released movie Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam. The movie, which is directed by Ranjith Sankar, was a critical and commercial success.
Prithviraj, on the other hand, bagged the Best Actor trophy, for his performance in RS Vimal directed Ennu Ninte Moideen. Jayasurya and Prithviraj last shared the screen in Nadhirshah's Amar Akbar Anthony.
