Yes, we are talking about IDI, which has Jayasurya in the role of a police officer. The first teaser of the film would release on June 3, 2016. The makers also released a new poster of the film, announcing the teaser date. Take a look.

The poster of the film looks promising and has raised the expectations about the teaser. IDI, is the directorial venture of Sajid Yahiya, who has featured in movies like Bangalore days, Pakida etc as an actor.

IDI is the acronym of Inspector Dawood Ibrahim, the character played by Jayasurya in the film. Jayasurya had donned the Khaki uniform in films like Positive and Mumbai Police. But, this one is different as the actor would be seen in a mass police avatar for the first time.

IDI has its script written by Arouz Irfan and Sajid Yahiya. The film has actress Sshivada as the leading lady. Jayasurya and Sshivada had earlier teamed up for Su..Su..Sudhi Valmeekam. The film also features actors like Madhupal, Saiju Kurup in prominent roles.

The shooting of the film was mainly held in areas around Kasargod. IDI has been produced by Dr Ajaz and Arun under the banner of Magic Lanterns. The releasing date of the film would be announced soon.
