Malayalam
movie
debut
soon.
But
according
to
the
reports,
John
is
entering
the
industry
as
a
producer,
not
an
actor.
In
a
recent
interview
given
to
a
TV
channel,
John
Abraham
confirmed
that
he
is
planning
to
produce
two
Malayalam
films
in
the
near
future.
The
titles
and
star
casts
of
the
projects
will
be
revealed
soon.
He
made
his
production
debut
with
the
2012-released
movie
Vicky
Donor,
which
won
the
National
Film
Award
for
Best
Movie
Providing
Wholesome
Entertainment,
along
with
Anwar
Rasheed's
Usthad
Hotel.
John
has
later
produced
several
Bollywood
films
including
Madras
Cafe,
and
the
upcoming
flick
Force
2.
He
is
extremely
excited
about
entering
the
Malayalam
industry,
which
is
known
for
the
quality
of
its
films.
The
actor
who
admitted
that
he
missed
some
of
the
recent
popular
Malayalam
films
like
Premam
and
Oppam,
stated
that
he
would
like
to
make
special
appearances
in
his
Malayalam
ventures.
John
Abraham
is
a
half-Malayali
by
birth.
His
father
Abraham
John,
who
is
an
architect
profession,
hails
from
Aluva.
The
actor's
mother
Firoza
Irani
is
from
a
Zoroastrian
family,
based
in
Mumbai.
