BOX OFFICE: Kali First Week Collections

Kali, the recently released Dulquer Salmaan movie is performing well at the theatres. When it completes the first week of release, Kali has crossed 8 Crores gross collection.

As per the latest updates from the trade analysts, the movie has made more than Rs. 8 Crores, from the Kerala box office alone. Kali was actually expected to cross 10 Crores, within the first week of release.

It was the average performance during the working days, which resulted in a drop in the collections. Kali had made a grand opening at the box office, by collecting 5.75 Crores within the first 3 days of release.

But, from the 4th to 7th days of release, the movie could only collect 2.25 Crores in total, which is actually a huge fall down. It is a fact that Kali failed to impress the family audiences, which badly affected the collections.

There is a very less chance for Kali to do well this week, as King Liar is receiving extremely good responses from the family audiences. The release of Jacobinte Swargarajyam may also affect the collections.

But, the Dulquer Salmaan fans can relax as Kali has already earned the super hit status at the box office. Kali is expected to make it big with the worldwide collections, as it is releasing outside India for Vishu.
