CONFIRMED: Kasaba Breaks The Initial Collection Record Of Kali!

Kasaba, the Mammootty starring police story had a tremendous opening at the box office, as expected. Interestingly, Kasaba has broken the initial box office collection record of Dulquer Salmaan's Kali.

As per the latest reports from the trade analysts, the Nithin Renji Panicker movie shattered the record of Kali, by making an initial collection of 2.48 Crores. The initial collection of Kali was Rs. 2.33 Crores.

It is the first ever Mammootty movie to cross 2 Crores gross collection on the first day of release. So, Kasaba has officially emerged as the highest ever initial collection grosser of the Malayalam movie industry.

The movie made another record on its releasing day, by having 36 special shows all over Kerala on the releasing day. It is also the first Malayalam movie to get 339 housefull shows on the releasing day.

Kasaba has been receiving mixed to positive reviews from both the audiences and critics. The Nithin Renji Panicker movie is an out-and-out entertainer, which will completely satisfy the masala movie lovers.

The movie will be widely released all over Kerala and all the major Indian cities, by this weekend. According to the recent updates, Kasaba will hit the theatres outside India, by the last week of July.
