is
not
the
first
time
that
a
Malayalam
composer
is
winning
the
National
Film
Award.
So,

of
Malayalam
composers
who
have
won
National
film
awards
in
the
past.
Johnson
Johnson
is
the
first
Malayalam
composer
to
win
a
National
Film
Award.
He
has
also
got
the
distinction
of
winning
two
consecutive
National
Film
Awards
in
the

category.
First,
he
won
the
award
for

in
the
year
1993
for
his
work
in
Ponthan
Mada.

he

the

for

Sunder

National

an
award

through
his
work
in
the
Malayalam

at

Interestingly,
Ramesh
Narayanan
who

for

the

2015.
