Mammootty's Kasaba Gets A Release Date

Kasaba, the upcoming Mammootty starring action thriller directed by debutante Nithin Renji Panicker, has finally got a release date. As per the latest updates, Kasaba will be released on July 7th.

The movie, which stars Tamil actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the female lead, is expected to be released in 150 screens, all over India. Kasaba is scripted by Nithin Renji Panicker himself.

If the reports are to be true, Kasaba will hit theatres before Mammootty's another highly anticipated movie, White. The Uday Ananthan directed love story has been postponed due to some undisclosed reasons.

Interestingly, Kasaba may lock horns with Mohanlal's Puli Murugan, which is also expected to be released on July 7th. The industry is expecting a Mammootty-Mohanlal theatre clash, this July.

Kasaba, which is said to be a comical thriller, will have Mammootty in the role of Rajan Zachariah, who is a Circle Inspector. The role is said to be entirely different from the earlier police roles of the actor.

The movie stars Sambath, Siddique, Jagadish, Kalabhavan Navas, etc in the other pivotal roles. Kasaba is produced by Renji Panicker and Anto Joseph under the banner Good Will Entertainments.
