We
all
know
about
the
immense
acting
abilities
of
Mammootty.
He
is
one
such
actor,
who
puts
in
his
best
to
make
each
character
perfect
by
adding
that
extra
effort.
He
has
proved
that
over
and
again
with
some
wide
variety
of
characters,
that
he
has
performed,
so
far.
The
actor
has
had
his
own
share
of
flop
movies,
but
even
in
those
movies,
he
had
made
it
a
point
to
put
in
his
best.
Here,
we
are
going
to
list
some
of
the
Mammootty
movies
that
were
disappointments,
but
had
the
actor
in
full-form.
White
(2015)
White,
which
released
this
year
went
on
to
become
a
huge
disappointment.
The
film
failed
to
cater
to
any
section
the
audiences
and
the
sole
positive
of
the
movie
was
the
performance
of
Mammootty.
The
actor
looked
dashing
and
confident
as
Prakash
Roy
and
gave
his
best
for
the
character.
Balyakalasakhi
(2014)
Balyakalasakhi
was
one
of
the
much
awaited
movies
of
Mammootty,
back
then.
Mammootty,
appeared
in
a
dual
role
in
this
movie
and
the
actor
was
convincing
in
the
portrayal
of
the
elder
version
of
Majeed.
But,
the
movie
couldn't
stay
loyal
to
the
the
novel
written
by
Vaikkom
Muhammed
Basheer.
Pramani
(2010)
The
movie
marked
the
first
association
of
Mammootty
and
B
Unnikrishnan.
Much
was
expected
from
this
movie,
but
the
director
failed
to
deliver
the
best.
Having
said
that,
the
film
had
Mammootty
in
full-form.
He
stole
the
show
as
Viswanatha
Panikker,
a
character
with
slight
negative
shades.
August
15
(2011)
August
15
was
the
sequel
to
the
1988
movie,
August
1.
In
the
sequel,
Mammootty
reprised
the
character
of
Inspector
Perumaal.
The
actor
did
put
in
his
best,
reminding
us
about
the
old
Perumaal.
He
even
carefully
recreated
the
mannerisms,
making
the
transformation
of
the
character
believable.
Parunthu
(2008)
Mammootty
had
played
a
role
with
extreme
negative
shades
in
the
movie,
directed
by
Padmakumar.
In
fact,
the
actor
gave
a
mesmerizing
performance
as
Parunth
Purushothaman,
the
ruthless
money
dealer.
But,
disappointingly,
the
film
didn't
have
the
metal
to
impress
the
audiences.
Most
of
the
above
mentioned
movies
were
big
failures
at
the
box
office.
The
critics
and
the
audiences
did
pan
the
movies,
but
at
the
same
time,
they
had
good
words
for
Mammootty,
who
had
given
his
cent
percent.
It
is
disappointing
to
see
film-makers
and
writers
coming
up
with
half-baked
project
for
an
actor
of
Mammootty's
calibre.
Yes,
the
decade,
so
far
hasn't
been
that
a
good
one
for
Mammootty,
but
the
actor
has
not
given
a
performance,
that
could
be
termed
as
a
disappointment.
Mammootty's
upcoming
film
is
The
Great
Father,
directed
by
Haneef
Adeni.
The
film
is
expected
t
give
Mammootty
that
much
needed
big
hit.
The
movie
would
hit
the
theatres
in
January.
