Mammootty-Nithin Renji Panicker Movie Titled 'Kasaba'

The Mammootty starring upcoming action thriller, directed by Nithin Renji Panicker, is reportedly titled as Kasaba. It is the directorial debut of Nithin, who is the son of popular writer-director-actor, Renji Panicker.

According to the rumour mills, Kasaba is just a temporary title for the project, and it may change later. The filming of the movie has been progressing at the various locations of Bangalore.

The movie, which is said to be a comical thriller, will have Mammootty in the role of Rajan Zachariah, who is a Circle Inspector. The role is said to be entirely different from the earlier police roles of the actor.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, the popular Tamil actress, who is the daughter of actor Sarathkumar, makes her Malayalam movie debut with Kasaba. She is playing the main female lead in the movie.

Poonam Bajwa, who has earlier acted in several Malayalam movies, appears in a pivotal role. Sambath, the Tamil actor who is popular among in Mollywood for his negative roles, is the antagonist.

Kalabhavan Navas and Badai Bungalow fame Manoj Guinness play the supporting roles in the movie. Kasaba is produced by Renji Panicker and Anto Joseph under the banner Good Will Entertainments.
