FINALLY! Mammootty Signs Jeethu Joseph Project

Mammootty, the megastar is finally joining hands with film-maker Jeethu Joseph. In a recent interview, Jeethu confirmed that Mammootty has signed his upcoming project, which is expected to start rolling soon.

The reports regarding the project have started doing rounds in 2015 end, but the actor-director duo hasn't confirmed them. Now, Mammootty fans are extremely excited, as the director finally confirmed the news.

Earlier, Jeethu had approached Mammootty for his blockbuster movies Drishyam and Memories. But the megastar turned down both the offers, as the storylines were similar to some of his earlier movies.

It was Mammootty, who later suggested Prithviraj for Memories and Mohanlal for Drishyam. The audiences were eagerly waiting for the Mammootty-Jeethu Joseph collaboration, since the success of those films.

Reportedly, Jeethu Joseph is also planning to direct a Mohanlal starrer and Dileep project. But he will only start working on those projects, after completing the filming of his upcoming Mammootty starrer.

The megastar is currently busy with the final schedule of his upcoming Tamil flick Peranbu. He will next join the sets of the untitled project, directed by debutante Haneef Adeni and produced by August Cinema.
