The Great Father, the Mammootty starrer is one of the most anticipated projects of the year. The filming of the movie, which is directed by newcomer Haneef Adeni, has been progressing in Kochi.

According to the latest updates, media is banned on the sets of The Great Father. Reportedly, the team has decided not to allow media representatives on the location, to maintain the suspense factor.

The makers fear that frequent media visits may result in the leakage of exclusive stills or the movie plot. Another reason for the team's decision is said to be the leading lady, Sneha and Baby Sara.

If the reports are to be true, the team wants to keep Sneha and Sara's roles in the movie under the wraps. Sources suggest that they are playing the characters with lots of surprise elements in The Great Father.

Interestingly, the team has also stopped sharing the location pictures on social media platforms, after Sneha joined the project. Well, all these activities are surely raising the expectations upon the movie.

The Great Father, which is written by director Haneef, himself is produced by Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadesan, and Arya, for August Cinema. The movie will hit the theatres for Christmas 2016.
