Mammootty's White: 'Eriyumoru Venalil' Song Review

By Akhila Menon

The first official song of White, the upcoming Mammootty starrer, is out. The movie, which is directed by Uday Ananthan, marks the Mollywood debut of the popular Bollywood actress, Huma Qureshi.

The song, which stars Eriyumoru venalil is a romantic melody, sung by Vijay Yesudas and composed by Rahul Raj. Rafeeq Ahamed has penned the lyrics. The highlight of the song video is its visualisation.

Eriyumoru venalil depicts the intense romance between the lead characters, Prakash Roy and Roshni Menon, played by Mammootty and Huma Qureshi. Vijay Yesudas once again scores, with his soothing voice.

Rafeeq Ahamed's poetic lyrics is the soul of the song. Rahul Raj, who strikes again after the highly appreciated work in Kohinoor, has tried to take a deviation from his usual style, for this song.

But, Eriyumoru venalil is not much catchy and lacks the feel. It may disappoint the listeners who were expecting the Vijay-Rahul combo magic again, after the highly appreciated Hemanthamen from Kohinoor.

But at the same time, it is not a total disappointment either. Amarjit Singh, who handled the visualization, had done an outstanding job. White, which is produced by Eros International, will be released by May last week.
