Karinkunnam Sixes, directed by Deepu Karunakaran was a movie based on Volleyball sport. Manju Warrier, this time played the role of a Volleyball coach in the film, which received decent reviews for the actress.

Manju Warrier's debut in Kollywood has been among the most awaited ones. In 2016, we got an exact idea about the actress's Kollywood debut. Reportedly, she would be seen playing the lead role in an upcoming Tamil film Vannam directed Ramana and featuring Arvind Swamy in the lead role. The film is expected to go on floors in 2017.
