Mohanlal & Priyadarshan In Ooty For Oppam

Mohanlal and Priyadarshan, the actor-director duo is back in their lucky shooting spot Ooty, after a long gap of 22 years. The duo is filming for their upcoming investigative thriller Oppam in Ooty.

Priyadarshan recently shared a special picture clicked with Mohanlal from the location, through his official Facebook page. Some highly popular movies of Mohanlal-Priyadarshan duo, including Kilukkam and Minnaram, were filmed in Ooty.

Interestingly, Oppam, which is said to be an out-and-out thriller will have Mohanlal in the role of a visually challenged man. The movie revolves around the actor's character, who accidentally gets involved in a murder.

Vimala Raman, the popular South Indian actress makes a comeback into the industry, as the female lead opposite Mohanlal, in Oppam. Young actress Anusree will appear in a brief yet very important role.

It is a critical project in both Mohanlal and Priyadarshan's careers, as both of them badly need a successful movie. Mohanlal hasn't had a decent box office success, after the victory of Drishyam.

The movie, which stars Samuthirakani, Nedumudi Venu, Siddique, Mamukkoya, Renji Panicker, Aju Varghese, Kalasala Babu, Idavela Babu, Chemban Vinod Jose, etc. in the supporting roles, is proudced by Aashirvad Cinemas.
