IT'S OFFICIAL: Mohanlal Announces Pranav Mohanlal's Debut
Finally, the much-awaited announcement is here. Mohanlal, the magical actor recently announced the lead role debut of his son Pranav Mohanlal, through a special note posted on his official Facebook page.
Pranav Mohanlal will enter the film industry as a lead actor, with the upcoming Jeethu Joseph project. The movie, which will be an out-and-out action thriller, is produced by Antony Perumbavoor for Aashirvad Cinema.
The title of the project and rest of the star cast are expected to be revealed soon. The movie will start rolling in January 2017. Pranav Mohanlal's role in the movie has been kept as a secret.

Pranav Mohanlal
Pranav was born on July 13, 1990, as the son of Mohanlal and Suchitra. He has a younger sister named Vismaya. Veteran film producer K Balaji is his maternal grandfather, and producer Suresh Balaji is his maternal uncle.
Schooling
Pranav Mohanlal and sister Vismaya Mohanlal completed their schooling from Hebron School, Ooty. Pranav was active with theatre plays, and was adjudged as the best actor, in his school.
Acting Debut
Pranav made his acting debut at the age of 12, with the movie Onnaman, which had his father Mohanlal in the lead role. He played Mohanlal's childhood in the movie.
Kerala State Film Award For Best Child Artist
Pranav won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist, for the performance in Major Ravi's Punarjani. He essayed the central character Appu in the movie.
Higher Studies
The aspiring actor completed his graduation in Philosophy, from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He has a deep passion towards English literature.
Entry As An Assistant Director
Pranav Mohanlal began his career as a direction assistant, by assisting Jeethu Joseph for the movie Papanasam, the Tamil remake of Drishyam. He later worked with Jeethu for the Dileep movie Life Of Josutty.
Wanderlust
Pranav is also a travel lover. He has proved his writing skills, through his special travel diaries, which was published in Mathrubhumi Yathra magazine.
Earlier, it was reported that Mohanlal is planning to launch Pranav, and is searching for an exciting script. But the actor denied the reports and stated that he wants his son to choose a career on his own.
But the rumours resurfaced recently after a few popular online portals reported that Mohanlal is planning to announce the Pranav's lead role debut soon. Now, the speculations have finally come to an end.
