Mohanlal is all set to play the lead role in actor Prithviraj's directorial debut, Lucifer. The duo announced the project on September 15, 2016. Now, the sources suggest that Mohanlal is highly anxious about the project.
If the reports are to be true, Lucifer may not go on floors in March 2016 as expected, due to Prithviraj's acting commitments. The young actor is currently on a signing spree and has some promising projects in his kitty.
Prithviraj cannot dedicate 6 months of his time to a big-budget project like Lucifer, at this point of his career. According to sources close to Mohanlal, the actor is worried about the future of his highly anticipated project.
Earlier, it was rumoured that Lucifer has been shelved, but producer Antony Perumbavoor slammed the reports through his official Facebook page. He has also ensured that the project with start rolling by the end of 2017.
But director Prithviraj, on the other hand, is not free till the mid-2018. Mohanlal is keen to complete Lucifer as soon as possible, as he has been receiving several offers from both Mollywood and other language industries.
However, Prithviraj or writer Murali Gopy have not made any official statements about the rumours, till now. We hope that the team members will clear the confusion and reveal the actual status of Lucifer, soon.
