Mohanlal Completes Shooting For Oppam!

Well, the shooting of one of the most awaited films of this season has been completed. Mohanlal has completed the shoot of his upcoming film Oppam directed by Priyadarshan.

The shoot of the film began in the month of March and Mohanlal completed the shoot of the film in various schedules. The actor would next join the final schedule of his Telugu film Janatha Garage.

The movie was shot primarily in locations like Kochi, Trivandrum and Ooty. The film which marks the reunion of Mohanlal and Priyadarshan after a gap of 2 years has been produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.

Oppam is expected to be a different film from Priyadarshan and according to reports, the director is getting back to the thriller genre.

The film would feature Mohanlal in the role of a person named Jayarajan, who is a visually challenged man. Jayarajan works as a lift operator in one of the flat premises in the city. The film takes a turn when the character accidentally gets involved in a murder. What follows next would be presented in the lines of a thriller.

The film has an ensemble star cast comprising of actors like Siddique, Nedumudi Venu, Samuthirakkani, Chemban Vinod Jose, Renji Panicker, Aju Varghese, Innocent, Hareesh Kanaran etc. Vimala Raman makes a comeback to Mollywood with this film. Actress Anusree would also be seen in the film in the role of a police officer.

Oppam is expected to hit the theatres in the month of Septmeber.
