Well, there is no stopping Mohanlal, as far as breaking records are concerned. Now, the actor has equalled one of the records of Mammootty.
It seems like Mohanlal is on a record breaking spree. The actor, whose recent release Pulimurugan has turned out be an industry hit, has now almost all the box office records under his sleeves.
Now, the actor has went on to equal one of the records, which was held by actor Mammootty, so far. Well, this one is not a box office record, but a record for playing a particular character in maximum number of movies.
In the upcoming film 1971 Beyond Borders, directed by Major Ravi, Mohanlal would be seen playing the character Major Mahadevan. It is for the fourth time that the actor is playing this character. Previously, he played Major Mahadevan in films like Keerthichakra, Kurukshethra and Kandahar.
Well, now Mohanlal has equalled the record of Mammootty, who has been a part of the films of CBI series. He played the character Sethuramayyar in all the four movies of the series namely, Oru CBI Diarykurippu, Jagratha, Sethuramayyar CBI and Nerariyan CBI.
But, there are chancesthat Mammootty will make this record, on his name, once again. There are reports doing the rounds that the makers of CBI series are planning to make the fifth film of the series with Mammootty, once again in the role of Sethuramayyar.
