RUMOUR: Mohanlal Invested 3300 Crores Overseas Foreseeing Note Ban?

Mohanlal, the complete actor has been heavily thrashed for his latest blog, which supports the demonetization move. Several eminent personalities have openly criticised Mohanlal's blog, but the actor chose to stay by his words.

Now, social media has come up with a severe allegation against the complete actor. According to the rumour mills, Mohanlal had invested about 3300 Crores on a Kuwait-based petroleum mining business, foreseeing the note ban.

The posts regarding Mohanlal's investment first appeared on the Facebook pages of a few activists, including Adv. Jahangeer Palayil Tharakapottammel. Reportedly, Kuwait-based newspapers had published stories based on the same.

If the reports are to be true, Mohanlal hasn't submitted any documents which reveal the source of the money or paid income tax for the same. But the actor's supporters and fans are strongly defending the actor.

According to the supporters, there is no need to pay income tax, if the money is acquired from the income sources outside India. But critics strongly believe that Mohanlal pulled the right buttons, foreseeing the note ban.

They also point out that it is hard to believe that Mohanlal garnered such a huge amount of wealth, just with his acting profession and businesses. We hope that the actor will soon clear the air and the truth will come out.
