Mohanlal-Jibu Jacob Film Starts Rolling Today!

One of the most awaited films of the year has started rolling today. Mohanlal's upcoming film, which is being directed by Jibu Jacob has gone on the floors.

The director of the film, took to Facebook to officially announce the commencement of the shoot. Jibu Jacob did sent out a note regarding this.

He seeked the blessings of all his well-wishers and also expressed his gratitude to the cast and crew members of the film Vellimoonga, which was his debut of film and the success of which paved way for this big project.

The upcoming film, which is based on the short story named Pranayopanishath has been tentatively given the same title. P Sindhuraj has written the script for the film. The major portions of the film would be shot in and around Kozhikkode district.

Mohanlal, at the same time, has completed the final schedule of his Telugu film Janatha Garage and is all set to join Jibu Jacob film.

The film is a much awaited one since it marks the comeback of Mohanlal to common man roles. Mohanlal would play the role of a Panchayath Secreatary in this film. Meena, plays the character of his wife. Aima Sebastian plays the daughter of the character played by Mohanlal.

Anoop Menon, Alencier Ley, Aju Varghese, Kalabhavan Shajon etc also play important roles in the film. The film is being produced by Sophia Paul under the banner of Weekend Blockbusters.
