Mohanlal starring upcoming Jibu Jacob movie is not titled as Pranayopanishad. In a recent interview, Sindhuraj, the writer of the project, revealed that the team is yet to finalise a title.
Reportedly, the movie is inspired from the popular short story Pranayopanishad, written by VJ James. But, the makers are planning to give a different title to the movie, which is a family entertainer.
The movie will have Mohanlal in the role of the Panchayath secretary Ulahannan. Senior South Indian actress Meena appears as his wife. Actor-writer Anoop Menon is appearing a pivotal role in the movie.
Meena, who is known as the lucky co-star of Mohanlal, is sharing the screen with the actor for the eighth time in her career. The popular pair last teamed up for the blockbuster movie, Drishyam.
Jibu Jacob, the director of the project, rose to fame with his directorial debut Vellimoonga, which was a critical and commercial success. The Mohanlal project is the second directorial venture of the director.
The movie, which will also have Aima Sebastian, Neha Saxena, Nedumudi Venu, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Sudheer Karamana, Aju Varghese, etc. in the supporting roles, is produced by Weekend Blockbusters.
