Lucifer, the Mohanlal-Prithviraj movie, is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated upcoming projects of Mollywood. Recently, a few online portals have reported that Lucifer has been shelved, to the much disappointment of the team.

Antony Perumbavoor, the producer of the project refuted the rumours through his official Facebook page recently. The producer clarified that the project is very much on cards, and will start rolling by mid-2017.

He also revealed that the team is planning to launch the official Facebook page of the movie, soon. Antony Perumbavoor has also requested the audiences not to believe the rumours surrounding the project.

The rumours started doing rounds after Prithviraj, the director of the movie announced some of his upcoming acting projects. The media started speculating that the actor started committing new projects, as Lucifer got shelved.

But, according to some believable sources, Prithviraj is planning to complete some of his upcoming projects before joining Lucifer. The actor will only start filming for his rest of his projects, after the release of his directorial debut.

If the reports are to be true, Kunchacko Boban, who was a part of the star cast when Rajesh Pillai was the director, will be joining hands with the new team as well. Stay locked to Filmibeat for more updates on Lucifer.
