Nivin Pauly's Sakhavu To Clash With Dulquer Salmaan-Amal Neerad Movie?

Sakhavu, the Nivin Pauly movie is slated to hit the theatres on March 23, 2017. According to the rumour mills, the highly anticipated Dulquer Salmaan-Amal Neerad movie will also be released on the same day.

If the reports are to be true, director Amal Neerad is planning to wrap up the Dulquer Salmaan project by the end of January 2017 and to release the movie on March 23, along with Nivin Pauly's Sakhavu.

Both Sakhavu and the Dulquer Salmaan-Amal Neerad project were expected to be released for Christmas 2017. But, the shootings of both the projects were delayed due to some unexpected technical issues.

Sakhavu is written and directed by National award winner Sidhartha Siva, the director of Kochavva Paulo Ayyappa Coelho. The movie revolves around a young student leader and how his life changes after a hospital visit.

The Dulquer Salmaan-Amal Neerad project, on the other hand, is a light-hearted love story which revolves around a Kottayam-based young man. The second schedule filming of the movie will soon begin in the USA.

Nivin will not have a Christmas release this year, and is planning to release his next movie in January 2017. Sathyan Anthikad's upcoming project Jomonte Suviseshangal has replaced the Amal Neerad project, as Dulquer's Christmas release.
