hit
the
theatres.
But
now,
here
is
a
disappointing
news
for
all
of
them.
According
to
the
latest
developments,
the
Producers
Association
has
decided
to
stop
the
release
of
all
the
upcoming
Malayalam
films.
Reportedly,
the
Producers
Association
is
planning
to
go
for
a
strike
from
December
16,
2016
onwards
due
to
their
ongoing
issue
with
the
Exhibitors
Federation.
The
shoot
of
the
upcoming
films
will
also
come
to
a
halt
due
to
the
upcoming
strike.
Issues
between
Producers
Association
and
Exhibitors
Federation
fuelled
when
Exhibitors
Federation
started
demanding
half
the
amount
of
the
theatre
share,
to
which
both
the
Producers
and
Distributors
Associations
were
against.
Despite
holding
several
discussions,
both
the
associations
couldn't
come
to
a
settlement.
Four
big
Malayalam
films
have
been
slated
for
release
during
the
Christmas
season.
Dulquer
Salmaan
starrer
Jomonte
Suvisheshangal,
Mohanlal's
Munthirivallikal
Thalirkkumbol,
Prithviraj
starrer
Ezra
and
Siddique-Jayasurya
team's
Fukri
were
the
movies
scheduled
as
the
big
releases
of
this
season.
Now,
the
upcoming
strike
has
put
the
release
of
all
these
movies
under
crisis.
