Puli Murugan, the Mohanlal starring upcoming action thriller, will not hit the theatres for this Eid. According to the latest updates, the release of Puli Murugan has been postponed indefinitely.
The movie, which is directed by Vysakh, was expected to hit the theatres on July 7th, in about 3000 theatres worldwide. Reportedly, the team decided to postpone the release due to the unavailability of releasing centres.
So, it has been confirmed that Puli Murugan will not lock horns with Mammootty's highly-anticipated police story Kasaba, at the box office. Kasaba, which is directed by Nithin Renji Panicker, will release on July 7th.
Puli Murugan is a dream project for director Vysakh, who has been going through a low phase in his career. The movie is scripted by Udayakrishna, for the popular scenarist dyo, Sibi K Thomas-Udayakrishna.
Jagapati Babu, the veteran Telugu actor makes his Malayalam movie debut, as the antagonist in Puli Murugan. Popular actress Kamalinee Mukherjee essays the female lead opposite Mohanlal.
Lal, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Bala, Kishore, Vinu Mohan, Anjali Aneesh Upasana, Namitha, etc appear in the supporting roles. Puli Murugan is produced by Tomichan Mulakupadam, under the banner Mulakupadam Films.
