Oppam, the Mohanlal-Priyadarshan movie has already been declared as the biggest hit of 2016. The movie broke several pre-existing box office records of Mollywood, within the first 2 weeks of release.
As per the latest reports from the trade analysts,

Oppam broke two box office records of Nivin Pauly

emerged as the fastest Malayalam movie to cross the 10-Crore and
20-Crore marks, in Mollywood.
The movie also broke the collection record of Jacobinte Swargarajyam, thus emerging as the biggest hit of 2016. Director Priyadarshan is planning to remake Oppam in Tamil and Bollywood, soon.
