Paavada Was An Emotional Experience: Asha Sarath

Asha Sarath is undoubtedly one of the best actresses of the town today. After a short hiatus, Asha is back with a bang, with a strong role in Paavada.

Interestingly, the actress was fortunate enough to replace veteran actress Shobana, as Sicily in Paavada. Asha feels that it is one of the best roles she has played in her career.

It was an intense role, which travels through the different stages of a woman's life. Asha Sarath says that she is not at all worried about her image. The only priority to take up the role was its depth.

The climax scene, which was filmed in a single shot, was an exhausting yet amazing experience for Asha. She completely transformed into Sicily at that time and it took a while for her to come out of it.

Another big challenge about being Sicily was the dubbing, which needed much effort. The voice modulations were different for each stage of her character.

Asha feels that Paavada gives a strong message for the young women, who aspires to become an actress. The message was also a great motivation for her to sign the film.

The actress has also made a mark in the Tamil movie industry with her latest flicks Thoongavanam and Papanasam. Asha Sarath shared the screen with Kamal Haasan in both the films.
