Prithviraj and Indrajith, the brothers, are undoubtedly the most sought after stars of Malayalam cinema. While Prithviraj made a place among the top league actors of the industry, Indrajith emerged as the most versatile actor of his generation.
The sons of late veteran actor Sukumaran and actress-entrepreneur Mallika Sukumaran were highly passionate about acting, since their childhood days. According to mom Mallika, the boys were active with theatres plays during their school days.
Both Indrajith and Prithviraj did their schooling in Kazhakkoottam Sainik School. Later, Indrajith graduated in engineering from Sardar Raja College, Thirunelveli; while Prithviraj relocated to Australia, where he did his graduation in IT from the University of Tasmania.
Indrajith bagged his first role in Vinayan's Oomapenninu Uriyadapayyan, in which he essayed the antagonist. He later experimented with various types of roles, including the lead characters, antagonist roles, character roles, and comic roles.
Prithviraj, on the other hand, was identified by the veteran director Fazil, who later introduced him to Ranjith, the writer-director. It was Ranjith, who introduced him through his movie Nandanam, which emerged as a huge critical and commercial success.
