Mohanlal's Pulimurugan is continuing its amazing run at the box office. Even after 3 weeks of its release, the film continues to fetch gold from the box office and thereby creating new milestones.
According to certain reports, the film has crossed the 50-Crore mark at the Kerala box office. Pulimurugan has turned out to be the first film to have achieved this landmark.
In fact, the film took only 21 days to create this milestone and it has overtaken Drishyam by a long distance, in the race. Reportedly, the film has grossed 50.1 crores till now from Kerala.

Drishyam (2013)
Drishyam, which released in the year 2013 had a fantastic run in Kerala. The film, which had a slow start initially, cruised ahead at the box office with good word of mouth and went on to fetch close to 44 Crores from Kerala box office.
Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015)
Much like Drishyam, Ennu Ninte Moideen too cruised ahead after great reports started to pour in. The film, reportedly minted approximately 42 Crores from Kerala box office making the movie the third highest earner.
Premam (2015)
Premam had a sensational run at the Kerala box office. The film did set many records back then, becoming the fastest to reach the 10-Crore, 20-Crore marks etc. Reportedly, the film grossed approximately 41 Crores from Kerala.
Oppam (2016)
Recently released Oppam created waves at the box office. The film was all set to cross the 50-Crore mark but the release of Pulimurugan did affect the run of the movie in Kerala. But, the film minted 39 Crores from Kerala alone and is still continuing its run in certain centres.
Amar Akbar Anthony (2015)
Amar Akbar Anthony was that kind of a movie, which had all the ingredients to entertain the audiences. The film had a grand run in Kerala and fetched 38 Crores from Kerala box office.
Two Countries (2015)
Dileep's Two Countries, which had a phenomenal run in Kerala was one of the top grossers of the year 2015. According to the reports, the film fetched close to 37 Crores from the centres in Kerala.
