WOW! Pulimurugan Surpasses Sultan, Rustom & MS Dhoni: The Untold Story

Pulimurugan, the Mohanlal starring action thriller is still ruling the box office, despite completing 75 days at the releasing centres. Now, Pulimurugan has also surpassed the Bollywood biggies, Sultan, Rustom, and MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.

Interestingly, the movie has now emerged as one of the few films of this year, to complete 50 days at the releasing centres in Mumbai. Pulimurugan has now surpassed the total theatrical runs of Sultan, Rustom, and MS Dhoni.

The movie is now in the list of the highest running movies of 2016 in Mumbai releasing centres, along with the Marathi blockbusters Sairat, Natsamrat, and Katyar Ghusal. It is truly a huge achievement for the Malayalam movie.

Pulimurugan, which is directed by Vysakh is now all set to complete its 11th week at the Mumbai releasing centres. Oppam, Mohanlal's first release in 2016, also had an excellent run at the Mumbai releasing centres.

Pulimurugan has broken almost all possible records of Malayalam movie industry. The movie has emerged as the all-time highest grosser, at both the Kerala box office and the overseas market, which includes the collections from the USA, UK, UAE, etc.

The Mohanlal movie has also emerged as the highest grossing South Indian movie at the UAE box office, by surpassing the record set by Baahubali: The Beginning. It is now the third all-time highest grossing movie of South India.
