Pulimurugan, the Mohanlal starring action thriller has already emerged as the all-time highest grosser of Malayalam movie industry. Now, Pulimurugan has also officially emerged as the first 100-Crore movie of Mollywood.
According to the latest reports from the trade analysts, the action thriller has crossed the 100-Crore mark when it comes to the worldwide collections. Lead actor Mohanlal confirmed the news through his official Facebook page, recently.

Kerala Collections
Within the first 30 days of its release, Pulimurugan went on to collect 60 Crores, from the Kerala box office. The movie is still having more than 470 shows per day all over Kerala.
All India Collections
Latest reports from the trade analysts suggest that the movie has already collected more than 77 Crores, from the all India box office. Pulimurugan is performing exceptionally well in all the major Indian cities, especially in Chennai and Bangalore.
UAE Collections
Pulimurugan collected 9.82 Crores from the UAE box office within the first weekend. The movie had a tremendous opening in UAE, by breaking the records of Kabali and Sultan to become the first Indian movie to have the highest number of shows.
Collection From Other GCC Countries
Trade analysts suggest that the movie has collected 1.09 Crore from Bahrain, 91.45 Lakhs from Kuwait, 1.13 Crore from Qatar, and 86.10 Lakhs from Oman.
Total UAE-GCC Collection
Thus, the Mohanlal movie went on to make a whopping gross collection of 13.83 Crores within the first weekend of its release, from the UAE-GCC box office together.
The USA & Europe Collections
According to the latest updates, Pulimurugan has already crossed the 1-Crore mark at the USA box office. The detailed reports of the USA and Europe are yet to be revealed.
Satellite, Audio, & Overseas Distribution Rights
Interestingly, the action thriller had managed to collect about 15 Crores, through the satellite rights, audio rights, and overseas distribution rights, much before its release.
The Total Worldwide Collections
Thus, Pulimurugan has made a total gross collection of more than 105 Crores, when it is all set to complete the 35th day at the releasing centres. The team is reportedly planning to celebrate the entry into the 100-Crore club, in a grand way.
Mohanlal essays the titular character Murugan in the movie, which is directed by Vysakh. It is the first independent screenplay written by Udayakrishna, of the popular scenarist duo, Sibi K Thomas-Udayakrishna.
Pulimurugan, which is made with a budget of 25 Crores, revolves around the deep enmity between a hunter and a tiger. The movie, which is best known for its exceptional fight sequences, marked the Mollywood debut of renowned stunt choreographer Peter Hein.
Kamalinee Mukherjee has essayed the female lead in the movie, which had popular Telugu actor Jagapati Babu in the antagonist role. Pulimurugan is produced by Tomichan Mulakupadam, under the banner Mulakupadam films.
