Ranjan Pramod, who debuted as a director with the Mohanlal starrer Photographer, is all set for his third outing as a director.
According to the latest reports, the writer-director has roped in actor Biju Menon to do the lead role in this film, which would have the actor in the role of a middle-aged common man.
Reports suggest that, Biju Menon would be seen in the role of a village-based guy who has his employment based in a city. The character travels from the village to the city on a daily basis and the film is said to be focusing on this divide between village and city.
Ranjan Pramod's previous directorial ventures Photographer and Rose Guitarinaal didn't have a good fate at the box-office. Even though Photographer was a flop, the film did receive good appreciation after its premiere in television channels.
Most recently, Ranjan Pramod had penned the script for Sathyan Anthikkad film Ennum Eppozhum, which had Mohanlal and Manju Warrier in the lead roles. Ranjan Pramod is also the writer of blockbuster films like Meesamadhavan, Achuvinte Amma, Naran, Manassinakkare etc.
Meanwhile, Biju Menon is a happy man after receiving huge praises for his performance in the film Anuraga Karikkin Vellam. The film, which released during the Eid season, has turned out to be the Eid box-office winner.
