Ranjan
Pramod,

debuted

director

the
Mohanlal
starrer
Photographer,
is
all
set
for
his
third
outing
as
a
director.
According
to
the
latest
reports,
the
writer-director
has
roped
in
actor
Biju
Menon
to
do
the
lead
role
in
this
film,
which
would
have
the
actor
in
the
role
of
a
middle-aged
common
man.
Reports
suggest
that,
Biju
Menon
would
be
seen
in
the
role
of
a
village-based
guy
who
has
his
employment
based
in
a
city.
The
character
travels
from
the
village
to
the
city
on
a
daily
basis
and
the
film
is
said
to
be
focusing
on
this
divide
between
village
and
city.
Ranjan
Pramod's
previous
directorial
ventures
Photographer
and
Rose
Guitarinaal
didn't
have
a
good
fate
at
the
box-office.
Even
though
Photographer
was
a
flop,
the
film
did
receive
good
appreciation
after
its
premiere
in
television
channels.
Most
recently,
Ranjan
Pramod
had
penned
the
script
for
Sathyan
Anthikkad
film
Ennum
Eppozhum,
which
had
Mohanlal
and
Manju
Warrier
in
the
lead
roles.
Ranjan
Pramod
is
also
the
writer
of
blockbuster
films
like
Meesamadhavan,
Achuvinte
Amma,
Naran,
Manassinakkare
etc.
Meanwhile,
Biju
Menon
is
a
happy
man
after
receiving
huge
praises
for
his
performance
in
the
film
Anuraga
Karikkin
Vellam.
The
film,
which
released
during
the
Eid
season,
has
turned
out
to
be
the
Eid
box-office
winner.
