Kabali fever has gripped the entire nation, with superstar Rajinikanth's film all set to release on this Friday. More Importantly, the song Neruppu Da.. has gone viral and has become the tone of Kabali.

Interestingly, upcoming Malayalam film Oru Mexican Aparatha, which has Tovino Thomas in the lead role is having an interesting connection with this song from Kabali.

Neruppu da.., the song from Kabali has been written and sung by singer Arunraja Kamaraj. The lyricist-cum-singer would also sing a song for the film Oru Mexican Aparatha.

The makers of Oru Mexican Aparatha took to Facebook to confirm this news. They also shared the making video of the promo song of the film.

Oru Mexican Aparatha, which marks the directorial debut of Tom Emmatty, has Tovino Thomas and film-maker Roopesh Peethambaran in the lead roles.

Tovino Thomas would be seen in the role of a student political leader in this film. The film narrates a campus story set in the early 1970's, with the story being narrated in the backdrop of Maharajas college in Kochi. The actors would be seen sporting vintage looks in the film.

Oru Mexican Aparatha would also feature a number of newcomers. An audition was held recently for selecting the newcomers, which did grab the headlines.
