Kabali,
the
highly
anticipated
Rajinikanth
movie
will
hit
the
theatres
this
Friday
(July
22nd).
The
release
of
Kabali
is
undoubtedly
a
big
threat
to
the
recently
released
Malayalam
films,
including
Kasaba.
The
Mammootty
starring
police
story
is
performing
extremely
well
at
the
box
office
and
has
made
a
gross
collection
of
about
13
Crores,
so
far.
Kasaba
is
expected
to
cover
15
Crores
by
this
weekend.
But,
the
analysts
state
the
release
of
Kabali
will
change
the
things
for
the
Nithin
Renji
Panicker
directed
movie.
The
Rajinikanth
starrer
is
releasing
in
300
Kerala
screens,
while
Kasaba
has
only
been
screened
in
about
140
theatres.
So,
it
is
obvious
that
the
Mammootty
movie
will
lose
the
footing
at
the
box
office,
by
the
upcoming
weekend.
Rajinikanth's
strong
fan
base
in
Kerala
and
the
pre-release
hype
will
make
the
things
even
easier
for
Kabali.

The
trade
analysts
expect
that
the
Pa
Ranjith
movie
will
emerge
as
the
other
language
film
to
earn
the
biggest
initial
collection
from
the
Kerala
box
office.
Kabali
is
distributed
in
Kerala
by
Mohanlal's
MaxLab
and
Aashirvad
Cinemas.
Kasaba,
on
the
other
hand,
has
already
been
witnessing
a
severe
downfall
in
the
collections,
owing
to
the
mixed
reviews
and
issue
with
the
Kerala
Women's
Commission.
Let
us
wait
and
see
how
Kasaba
will
thrive
the
clash
with
Kabali.
