Antony Perumbavoor Joins Mohanlal's Villain

Villain, the upcoming Mohanlal starring action thriller is one of the most awaited projects of 2017. Interestingly, producer Antony Perumbavoor is also playing a pivotal role in Villain, which is directed by B Unnikrishnan.

Antony Perumbavoor, who is believed to be the lucky charm of Mohanlal, is appearing as a police officer in the movie. Antony has earlier appeared in small roles in Mohanlal's blockbuster movies Pulimurugan, Oppam, Drishyam, etc.

Interestingly, Antony Perumbavoor has no plans to become a full-time actor and has decided to appear only in Mohanlal's films. He is one of the closest friends and business partner of the complete actor, since more than two decades.

He made his debut as a producer, with the 2000-released blockbuster movie Narasimham. Antony Perumbavoor was the producer of Mohanlal's several blockbusters, including Ravanaprabhu, Spirit, Drishyam, Oppam, etc.

Mohanlal and Antony are the co-owners of the popular distribution company, MaxLab. Interestingly, Antony Perumbavoor is the producer of Mohanlal's 4 upcoming project, and Pranav Mohanlal's debut acting venture.

Villain, which is said to be a stylish thriller, will have Mohanlal in the role of an ex-cop. The movie, which is scripted by director Unnikrishnan himself, stars Manju Warrier in the female lead. Villain is produced by Rockline Productions.
