Bahubali 2: The Conclusion, is all set to take over the box office. The film, directed by SS Rajamouli is the biggest release of the year and the film will also be releasing in Malayalam on April 28, 2017.
In all senses, the Malayalam dubbed version of Bahubali 2 is the biggest ever release for a dubbed movie in Kerala. Simultaneously, the Tamil version of Bahubali 2 will also be releasing in good number of screens in Kerala.
As Bahubali 2: The Conclusion is all set to take over the Kerala Box Office, the big question pondering in the minds of the audiences is whether the film will set a new opening day record at the Kerala box office or not.
The Great Father's Opening Day Record
Mammootty starrer The Great Father did set a big record at the box office straight away. The film, which released in close to 200 screens in Kerala with above 950 shows managed to fetch 4.31 Crores on its opening day. The film, is now the top Day 1 grosser at the Kerala box office.
A Big Release for Bahubali 2: The Conclusion In Kerala
If reports are to be believed, Bahubali 2: The Conclusion will be hitting in above 300 screens in Kerala with more than 1000 shows on Day 1. Both the Malayalam and Tamil versions of the film will be releasing in Kerala.
Excellent Advance Booking
Online booking for Bahubali 2: The Conclusion has already been opened for certain theatres in Kerala. The tickets got sold out like hot cakes and most of the shows have already been registered with housefull status.
Kabali – Top Day 1 Grosser Among Non-Malayalam Movies
Among the non-Malayalam movies, Rajinikanth starrer Kabali is the top day 1 grosser at the Kerala box office, at present. Kabali had a big release as it got released in 300 screens in Kerala and it went on to fetch 4.21 Crores on its first day.

Interestingly, Bahubali: The Beginning made a release in close to 150 screens in Kerala. The film did create any record back then, but it managed to get an impressive opening by collection 2.5 Crores on its opening weekends. Later, with positive word of mouth the film went on to make it big at the box office.
Well, considering the huge pre-release hype and the excellent advance booking that Bahubali 2: The Conclusion has had, the film is almost sure to break the records set by Mammootty starrer The Great Father and Rajinikanth's Kabali.
With the film making a massive release, most of the other Malayalam movies that are running in the theatres at present, will be affected up to some extent.
